I was surprised that the copywriters appear to be English-as-their-mother-tongue
speakers. When I read the Helix manual (from cover to cover, chuckling all the way), I
speculated that the writers were steeped in American idiom, but had learned English as a
second language. Now that the writers have been unmasked as copywriters, I am even more
impressed, since I learned, almost subliminally and painlessly, how to use the watch.
