Hi Wrl-ers,

Just wanted to let you know that my boss really liked a Visio I did using the template called "Cross-Functional Flowchart". I made a separate color to distinguish the 4 departments involved in the proposed new process.

Since it is a new process, putting it down this way, instead of in a memo or document with a lot of words, forces you to look to see how to get from A to B.

Thanks to all of you who contributed other ideas on interviewing people, organizing my thoughts, etc. etc. This is a great group. Now we have a nice thread in the archives called "Process Documentation".

Sincerely,
--Lorraine
