My Logitech mouse allows for setting the rate of the hands-free scroll-down.
Set the rate, put up my feet, lean back -in my Herman Miller Aeron
chair..sorry, couldn't help it :-), sip my coffee and read.

And contrariwise, many people hate scrolling down one
long never-ending continuous page. I'd much rather
have something broken into pages. If I have to keep
leaning on the scrollbar, my poor mouse finger gets
tired, or I slip off the bar and have to find my place
again. Plus, if what I need is on just one page, I
can easily save just that page, not the whole thing.

Maye it's just me, but that's also how I lay out an
on-line help system, and most of my web site.
