TechWhirl (TECHWR-L) is a resource for technical writing and technical communications professionals of all experience levels and in all industries to share their experiences and acquire information.
For two decades, technical communicators have turned to TechWhirl to ask and answer questions about the always-changing world of technical communications, such as tools, skills, career paths, methodologies, and emerging industries. The TechWhirl Archives and magazine, created for, by and about technical writers, offer a wealth of knowledge to everyone with an interest in any aspect of technical communications.
Do your research. Search those archives. I think it is safe to say that when
you are done, based on creating big documentation and big documentation sets
in a collaborative environment where everyone is standardized n the same
application, you're right...Frame will probably be it.
Note: if price is factor-1, then it doesn't matter...you'll end up with
Word...at almost $880 or so a pop vs the nominal price for Word, they are
gonna gasp.
>do research. (Who knew that research was part of tech writing?)
I hope this was tongue-in-cheek.
