I've seen this scenario many times. The company saves money, you *make*
money, and you're free to do other things with your "spare" time. Sounds
like the best solution for now - take the package at your full salary, and
while you're still there, try to negotiate a contract for the part-time
work, as long as it lasts.

And, of course, get your CV out there NOW. But you knew that.
