Subject:tech writer profile - a little OT From:Sean Hower <hokumhome -at- freehomepage -dot- com> To:"TECHWR-L" <techwr-l -at- lists -dot- raycomm -dot- com> Date:Fri, 30 Aug 2002 09:18:35 -0700 (PDT)
Hey all
I'm thinking about writing an article for my web site about the archetypal qualities of a technical writer. I basically want to make a profile/persona that describes:
education
interests/hobbies
frame of mind
likes/dislikes
Hopes/dreams/asperations
I was planning on making it a little tongue-and-cheek, but still informative.
Where you all come in: can you provide me with some of this data so I can build the profile? Just drop in an entry or two for each of the "categories" I listed above. Or, create a category I hadn't thought of and add in some entries. :-) Anyway, you can base it on the technical writers you've met, and your own personalities. Opinions are welcome. It won't judge anyone, I promise. :-)
I'll apprecaite any help that I get, but I hope I get enough help to make my idea work. :-) I'll send good vibes to anyone who replies.
