I know nothing about WorkTree - I haven't even looked at their website. My
thoughts are, though, that the first question you should ask (actually, it's
about the first thirty questions, but I simplify) "What exactly are these
people doing to earn my 47 dollars?" If they're doing no more than the
people who run monster or dice do, then it's a scam. If they won't tell you
what they're doing, I would say it's very likely that it's a scam. If they
tell you that they know lots and lots of recruiters personally and can put
you in touch with the perfect job for you even before it's been advertised,
then it's DEFINITELY a scam: that's no more than a good job agency is
SUPPOSED to do, without charging you a fee to do it. (They get their money
when they place you in a job, not before.)
