Couldn't agree more.

Someone on this list has recommended going to other ytech-type meetings. For
example, I "track" (not really attending but I follow the email threads) a
local Java programmers' group that meets once a month or so. As someone who
docs in Java / XML dev environment, if I find myself unemployed, that's
where I'm going first!
