Or you could try a different program all together. I use Pegasus Mail,
which has loads of features--one of them the ability to set your mail
to be read as either plain text or HTML, another is that it will not
execute anything automatically (good for preventing those VB macros
from damaging your system).
It has a very powerful filtering engine; I have this set up to move
all my techwr-l messages into a specific folder. And it's free.
