One good solution might be one that uses the same language that screen
reader software uses; that way, the software the person is using and the Web
interface both use the same language. Not knowing what that term might be,
an even better solution might be to use terms that are unequivocal for any
reader, sighted or not: "follow a link", or "select an option".
