I have to say that I am bewitched, bothered and bewildered (or for
Pogo aficionados "Bemildred") at the numbers of people who took
obvious delight in showing me that I'm not as obscure as I think I am.

Once again I find this list ample proof of intelligent ... and for
that matter witty, opinionated, egotistic, trivial, etc. ... life in
the universe, or am I just introspecting?

As Ambrose Bierce defines it:
ADMIRATION, n. Our polite recognition of another's resemblance to
ourselves.

You guys (non-gendered interpretation please) are good.

Be that way!
