My thanks to all who chose to respond either privately or publicly to my
request for assistance. What an incrredibly talented group visit and
contribute to this list! I'm deeply grateful. I received several excellent
reccommendations on reference books I should get that should be of
invaluable assistance.

FYI someone rightly noted that I'm from Canada. The accrediting body
(which I believe equivalent to the US EPA) is Canadian Association of
Enivronmental Laboratories (CAEL).

Thanks to all again. I enjoy the lively discussion.
