The bare infinitive both looks and sounds strange to my US of A-raised ears
& eyes. It makes the sentence almost indecipherable.

If it matters, I'm not a big fan of "enable" in this sentence either. I'm
not sure what the context is. How is a person enabled to subscribe? Are
you setting up the requirements for subscriptions, or just giving people a
set of instructions for subscribing?
