Well said, Charles, well said.
Although I've received lots of offlist support for my "news flash" thread,
you are one of the few to voice such sentiments publicly.
It's easy to never leave America - we seemigly have everything we need
right here, stretched out over a large and diverse cultural/geographic
landscape. It's easy to start thinking that this is all there is to the
world. But it ain't.
I encourage all Americans to travel; to heighten your appreciation both
for what you've got, and for what you've left behind. We're a baby country
- 200 years is nothing in The Big Scheme Of Things. We've got a lot to
learn. Particularly about brewing beer.
-Keith Cronin
Tech writing tie-in? I should have been *working* while I took the time to
write this! :)
