Couple of things:

* Has anyone ever tried to put together a forum/mailing list/organization 
for writers in the Electronic Design Automation / Semiconductor / 
Semiconductor IP fields? Is there any interest in this?

* If you *are* a tech writer in the Electronics/EDA/Semiconductor IP fields 
[or have an opinion on this matter in that context], could you please help 
me out with the following words/phrases? [Mainly with whether they are one 
word; hyphenated; or two words:

  * Floorplanning/Floor Planning
  * Tape out/Tape-out/Tapeout [as a noun: "When is tape-out?"]
  * Tape out/Tape-out/Tapeout [as a verb: "When do you tape out?"]
  * Tape out/Tape-out/Tapeout [as an adjective: "What is your tape-out 
date?"]
