This question is directed to my friends across the pond...for the
last two days, I've been listening to a jazz radio station through
the Internet...102.2fm (http://www.jazzfm.com/):
------
jazzfm launched in London in March 1990, and in Northwest England in
September 1994. The station has been committed to extending its
coverage area ever since; the London service has been broadcast
around the world via a live feed from the website since 1998, and the
station has now embraced the new technology of DAB digital radio.
------
It's fun. However, something caught my interest...they refer to
things in miles vs kilometers (traffic reports) and gallons instead
of liters (advertisements).
I was under the impression that you blokes used metric? What gives?
