The Technical Information Development certificate program at California
State University, Sacramento, is excellent. The classes are all taught by
seasoned professionals who bring tremendous real-world practicality to the
subject. One downside is that it is a certificate and not a degree. On
the plus side, however, the day-long classes are all held on the weekends -
perfect for those who are already employed. (And worth the drive from
Silicon Valley, IMHO.)
