Anthony,

You're using Acrobat 5, and your partner's using Acrobat 4, right? The
reason the file is so much larger is that Acrobat 5, by default,
produces 'tagged PDF', a PDF variant that has a much larger file size
than the PDFs that come out of v4. If you turn off tagging and just
generate a standard unstructured PDF, your file size will go down.
You'll find instruction on how to do this in the Acrobat docs. It
depends on how you're producing your PDF.
