I'm de-lurking to ask has anyone worked w/the Microsoft Sharepoint
Portal Server? I'm working at a small telco that is planning to
implement Sharepoint soon. My end-users and I are wondering about the
pros and cons of Sharepoint. I read the Microsoft White Paper and can
see why the IT group likes Sharepoint:
-- it's free
-- it works w/the corporate Microsft platform
-- it has a lot of control features that our IT people get wound up
about [but everyone else really doesn't]
-- it claims to have strong searching capabilities
>From an end-user's POV, though I'm curious as to how people *really*
like or dislike it. Any feedback would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Janet H. Murphy
