A long time ago I was an undercover store detective at the Harvard Coop (a
department store). I eventually quit because whenever I would go grocery
shopping, I'd be spying on fellow customers, and whenever I went to stores
of any kind, or libraries, or bus stations, I'd be watching for thieves.
Definitely, what you do for a living permeates your entire life.
