Good morning, afternoon and evening to all.
I am writing to you as I begin to work on my annotated portfolio. I have approximately 2 years of experience in technical/ marketing writing, and my projects include:
*product descriptions (for widespread internal use, construction of product, and initial presentations with customers)
*prospects
*user manuals
*templates in word and framemaker
I have consulted with Deborah Ray's article on annotated portfolios on the TECHWRL website, which has been of great help, but I still have two issues with which I must cope:
*design is not my strong point, particularly when colors and borders may or may not be useful (important for designing the portfolio itself)
*my experience with framemaker templates and user manuals was in my former Morotola department to which I no longer have any access and from which I have no proof. My emails of praise no longer exist, and the template for which I am primarily responsible are off limits, as are my contributions to the enormous user manual, not to mention the extensive planning I participated in for more comprehensive work processes.
Does anyone have any suggestions for how I may overcome this issue. I am interested in completing a good and comprehensive portfolio, but as you can see I have two major challenges ahead of me.
