Try doing an internet search for the terms "html math symbols"
I found this page right away but suspect there may be problems in rendering
it in certian browsers and/or platforms.

Greater than or equal <FONT FACE="Symbol">&#179;</FONT>

An alternative would be to make a gif of the problem symbols.
