Jill,
Your question implies that American firms are good and Indian firms are
maybe good. My common sense tells me that that there can be "good" and "bad"
companies in any country. There is no reason not having a bad American TW
company and a good Indian one or vice versa. Native tongue and British
English probably have nothing (or very little) to do with the process.
Perhaps you mean that in India, there are different business practices than
in the US. Even if someone on the list comes up with a positive or negative
experience about working with an Indian company, I would avoid generalizing
it to the entire country.
