RE: What Are the Main Problems You Have with MS Word?

Keith makes some valid points, and I will second his AutoNumbering comment.
I should read the complete list of posts, but I will forge ahead without
them.

 - One of the other known problems is the Master Document feature.  Good
concept, poor execution.

 - I have said to others that you don't learn how to use word, you learn how
to manipulate it, and every day I try and figure out something new...some
different way to get it to do what I want it to do.

 - Sometimes I wish that Word had more functionality in Tables and Forms,
but then again, sometimes I wish that my car had a swimming pool.  You just
can't get everything in one Word Processing package.

 - Even though the "Allow fast saves" and other such options can be a pain,
they have saved me a time or two, and it is nice to at least have that
option.

I am not terribly familiar with any other processing software, so all of
these might spill over into other programs as well.
