I apologize if I've mentioned this before, but
besides those "share" settings, Hotmail also
has, on a different page, a setting for listing
(or not listing) your name in the Hotmail directory.
If you're in the Hotmail directory, anyone with a
Hotmail account can send mail to you. (The "share"
settings, on the other hand, supposedly apply only
to websites that you visit.)
