I "teach" Word grammar along the way so it remembers
the right way to phrase and spell. The downside is
that just when I'm done teaching Word the right way to
proof, I upgrade it and have to start all over again.
;)

Yes, the best editor is a human being hired
exclusively for the role, and they aren't cheap, but
are worth every penny.
