Hi Elizabeth,
I am writing in Denmark and would use 14:34 or 2:34 PM, in that order of
preference. I do not expect that anyone here would be confused by the
colon rather than the full stop. They might do a double take but context
would probably clarify in a split second that it is a time statement.

All the best,

Subject: time

Hi everyone writing for a European audience:

It's 14.34, or 2.34pm, in Ireland. Would anyone in the rest of Europe
write
this time as 14:34 or 2:34pm? Would readers be confused by the colon in
a
time expression instead of the full stop?

Thanks.
