Although the position was for a Manufacturing
Development Engineer, the position involved
the creation and documentation of manufacturing
processes.

The interviewer presented some problems that
had been solved with some 'thinking outside the
box" solutions, and as I presented potential
solutions, shot them down, or presented additional
constraints to force thinking of additional answers.

I thought it was fun! Here's one:
How to prevent antennas from collapsing in
conditions that formed ice on the antenna.
Another: How to prevent wear on an elbow when
flowing large steel shot through it.

I didn't get the job, but the company later went
through some tough times and is still struggling,
and I saw it coming at the time.
