With doc managers required to do more with fewer resources, many people
being hired today will be entering high-pressure environments. People who
take themselves out of consideration because they don't like the interview
process are providing further proof that the process works.
Lots of folks at the STC conference opined that the strong seller's market
will return, but nobody predicted when. Until then, burn your bridges only

I think the question at hand is not about high-pressure interviews, but
interviews in which the pressure is directed in ways that seem strange if
not actually inappropriate.
One can certainly put a candidate through his or her paces without being
rude about it.
