WORD updating Ole-linked and embedded graphics

Dear Elisabeth.


Thank you very much. This will help me to print the document, at my
site. But my job is to touch up the text and return the original
document to the team.


Now I wonder what to tell the team.

The team *wants* to preserve these live links. And they want to print
the document any time themselves. It would cause great confusion if any
graphic suddenly disappears on the printout shortly before the deadline.



Do you have any technical tips on WORD for my team?

Select Edit: Links.... A screen showing all links (cross-references and
graphics) included in the document.

Select all the graphic links.

Make sure the Save picture in document option is selected.

Click the Break Link button.

Your document should be good to go, but you won't be able to F9 update
the
graphics.
