My advice... "If it ain't broke,..." ;-)

Making the change from Word to Frame has
certain advantages, true; but it isn't
without its disadvantages. IMO, file size
is one of the least important considerations;
there are well documented methods that allow
you to create books of gargantuan proportions
in Word.

Before you recommend a change, ask these
questions:
* Are you the only one that works on docs,
or are you an addition to an existing team?
* How many seats of Frame will they have to
buy and for how much money???
* How many people will they have to retrain?
* How will this affect existing workflow and
procedures?
* What supporting software will also need to
be replaced (e.g., do you also need to switch
RoboHelp Classic to Web Works Pub?)
* Will legacy docs need to be converted? All
at once, or little-by-little?

And maybe the most important:
* What *existing* problem will the change solve?

Bottom line, what will their ROI (return on investment)
be? Worth the switch????

Just my two cents.
