I don't want to just echo John Posada and Jan Henning. I want to add one more
comment on the idea that you represent the Technical Writers of the future. Not
in my organization, you won't. I suspect you will find work, for a time, and
you'll find other jobs, for a time. But if you want to succeed in Technical
Writer--or any kind of writing for that matter--you better display an
inquisitive mind and a willingness to ask stupid questions, sometimes stupidly
phrased. Otherwise you won't learn anything, and a Tech. Writer who doesn't
learn ends up asking, "Do you want fries with that?" <g>
