And, when viewing the resulting PDF, you can move the little "sticky note"
to a more convenient location if it's obscuring text.
Karen, thanks for reminding me of the thing I always forget to do, which is
to tick the include box next to the reviewer's name. Then I wonder why the
comments didn't convert. No doubt that was the problem for everyone else too.

Several people mentioned problems with seeing the comments in PDF when they
are added in WORD. .. It DOES work (for me!) and here's how:
This is with Word 2000 and Adobe Acrobat 4.05a.
1) Use Distiller as printer (maybe this is where some problems occur)
2) When you start creating a PDF from the File menu or your icon, you must
set up following:
- On the Output tab, tick "comments --> Notes" under General (output
options)
- On the Display Options tab in the lower half of the dialog, tick the
Include box next to the Reviewer names under Text notes. You can specify if
the notes should be open (impractical IMO) and color.
3) Create your PDF. When complete, notes will show up as tiny post-its in
the color you specified. Right-click the note and click Open Note to see
what it says.
