What's sad about it? As far as I know, I'm the only writer here who does anything related to the MES. There are probably some others, but most of the ones I've talked to work on entirely different stuff.

And that is sad. The writers at your own company don't care about the
technologies they are supposed to be documenting. How do they ever expect to
become better writers?
