I don't know. You didn't include what you said about the site. But, I can
kinda guess you didn't like it. I don't know what criteria you used in your
critique. For me, it was a bit of a pain to deal with in terms of color,
type, etc. But I'm sure I'm not the target audience for the site. I don't
want to become an "Art School Student of Doom".
A few posters have brought up the "Know the audience" mantra, and they're
right. It is quite easy to criticize a site, a document, a television show,
etc. when you look at it on a gut level. But if it serves the audience and
gets its message across, it succeeds.
