The thing I'd like to see aside from the Rev's comments is integration into
popular doc tools, at a minimum Frame and Word.

Also, you have to consider that you would be competing internally in any
company you enter with products like ClearCase and MKS and whatever else is
out there. These tools are not the best for managing documentation, but
they are accepted as tools for managing software projects. Your solution is
going to have to be low-priced enough that companies won't scream that
they're paying twice, and ideally act as a layer on top of something like
these software management tools. Having a much shorter implementation cycle
than your typical software management tool would be a plus.

It'd be nice with Frame to automate the MIF generation process so you could
really track changes at a finer level than is possible with just checking
in entire save files. But that's just an idea that isn't a compelling
reason for me, just a nice thing to have.

Good performance over WANs would be really nice, but I don't know if any
management software can do that. Remote access is always good to have, as
long as it's secure remote access.
