TechWhirl (TECHWR-L) is a resource for technical writing and technical communications professionals of all experience levels and in all industries to share their experiences and acquire information.
For two decades, technical communicators have turned to TechWhirl to ask and answer questions about the always-changing world of technical communications, such as tools, skills, career paths, methodologies, and emerging industries. The TechWhirl Archives and magazine, created for, by and about technical writers, offer a wealth of knowledge to everyone with an interest in any aspect of technical communications.
This is one thing we:
1) are most afraid of.
2) can least control.
See a subsequent response for remedies . .
We originally were going to offer a decent prize
randomly awarded to participants . . . but . . .
legal calls this a sweepstakes, which is OK within
the US, but is legally iffy in other countries.
For $$$$$ per hour, they will assist us in checking
the legal requirements . . . recall we have 0$.
Since this is over the web, we cannot control where
respondents live.
