Subject:RE: on technical writing Andy Richter From:Ed Gregory <edgregory -at- comcast -dot- net> To:"TECHWR-L" <techwr-l -at- lists -dot- raycomm -dot- com> Date:Tue, 19 Mar 2002 15:22:34 -0600
I'm reminded of a story (perhaps apocryphal) that Scott Adams added some of
the more "colorful" characteristics of Tina the Brittle Tech Writer after a
flurry of angry response from technical writers to her first appearance with
Dilbert.
Perhaps the writers of the Andy Richter, including one who is a former tech
writer, will mine the TECHWR-L list and this current thread for traits they
can exploit for the amusement of the TV audience.
So, let's start talking about how heroic we are and how exciting our jobs
are, about how all tech writers earn six-figure salaries and work from home
in our pajamas.
