1. Reference Resources:

Lot's of folks mentioned Google, but I've started to
rely on the Internet Archive Wayback Machine, which
provides online voodoo that revives dead web pages.
They have a 100 terabyte archive (!) of the Web from
1996 to the present. Among other things, they have
a 9/11 archive of a half a billion web pages.

2. Writing Categories:

Usenet FAQs; online troll-baiting by quoting The
Onion as if it were as reliable a journalistic
source as the Wall Street Journal; pro bono web
pages; fanzines. Zip for paying TW work at the
moment.

3. Dog vs. Cat

Cats. One of mine lasted 20 years, may she rest in peace.
