The 14th edition of the CMS says (14.24, 14.25):
- In non-technical text, write latitude and longitude like this: from
10°30' north latitude to 10°30' south latitude.
- In technical text and tables, use any of these forms (all examples
indicate the same value):
lat. 42°15'30" N
lat. 42-15-30 N
lat. 42°15.5' N
lat. 42°15'.5 N
The period after "lat" and "long" may be dropped. The abbreviations may
be dropped altogether, since the E, N, S, W suffix unambiguously defines
the type of coordinate. Thus, e.g.:
At 42°15'30" N, the last measurement was taken.

PS: I wonder about the "gamin" in your example. My Webster only gives a
definition of 'street urchin' - does the term have a special cartographic
definition or is this in error for "gamut"? (And there seems to be a
surplus 't' in "lattitude".)
