Hello,

I received a PDF from a co-worker who edited a Japanese document we had
translated (132 errors in 32 pages -- yikes!). He used the highlight text
tool to insert comments where appropriate, and he used the strikeout text
tool to cross out text. When he saved the PDF, something was corrupted, and
his highlights and strikeouts are still there, but the PDF's actual content
seems to be gone. I get the following error when I try to browse through
it:

"There was an error processing a page. An error has occurred that may be
fixed by installing the latest version of the Japanese Language support
package."

I tried to find this support package on Adobe's site, but a search turned up
nothing. I'm going to post to their help forum, but if anyone can offer any
advice/help, I'd appreciate it.

I'm using Adobe 4.05 on Windows 2000. I don't really want to have to ask
the FAE to insert all of his comments into a Word document ("On page xxx, in
paragraph xxx, change _____________ to ____________). That would be a lot of
work for him. If anyone has any other suggestions (assuming this can't be
fixed, I'd appreciate it. I tried editing the Japanese document myself (put
in some highlights), and I can save and reopen it -- I'm guessing it was the
number of comments that screwed something up (the PDF went from 1.3 MB to
over 10MB).

regards,
Susie P
