It is sad that so many people on this list feel it necessary to comment on
matters which are far beyond their expertise, let alone their experience.
Let it go, people - my guess is that none of you is qualified to speak on
the subject of clinical depression, whether all of the facts are available
or not.

I suspect that more than one person can relate to what Anonymous spoke of,
and I also suspect that more than one person felt somehow threatened by the
email s/he sent (judging by the tones of some of the rather hostile emails
sent in response). Did the email somehow anger or upset you? Then consider
that the issue is yours, not his/hers. Emotion are created by the person who
feels them, not by the apparent object of the emotion(s).

Enough said - this is not a technical writing issue, and I would ask Eric to
shut down the thread.
