Isn't there simply a preference issue here?I don't think so. For me, the issues are quality and personal integrity. If you try to order scattered thoughts, or make sense of illogical writings without a reasonably thorough knowledge of the subject, you won't do a very good job - it's as simple as that. And, to my way of thinking, if you undertake the job in the first place, you should try to do as good a job as you can.
