Word: Nasty little surprise

Here's one to play havoc with your VBA and general life. It exhibits itself
nastily under word 2k, I assume the worst and think 97 at least as well.

Get yourself a virgin paragraph. Type any sequences of characters, also
called a word, and then leave a space. If we pretend the [ is the backwards
P of the paragraph end, we can use this as an example:

Heretical [

Now, select that space at the end of the paragraph all by its lonesome. Make
sure the entire space character is selected and highlighted.

Now press backspace 1 million times. Amazing huh! No change

Now press delete once. What the heck? It DIDN'T delete it, but it did
unselect it.

Wow. Whatta PITA that was a few days ago. My fnr ^w^P --> ^P didn't do boo
