You may end a sentence with a preposition. Therefore, it is incorrect to
label the example above as "correct" or "incorrect."
James Kirkpatrick once wrote that the "rule" is a fallacy that dates back to
when all important writing was in Latin. In Latin, it is impossible to end a
sentence in a preposition. Therefore, when the Latin version was translated
to English, the sentences did not end in a preposition.
