I tried and tried, but there is no way to situate the monitor so that I
can comfortably use it without it being visible to The Entire World.
A consulting company I worked for previously issued "rear view mirrors" to its employees. They used adhesive and fit on the corner of a monitor, and gave a wide-view image of what was happening behind us.
