I hope it was clear that I meant that in a light-hearted way. I think PDFs
are swell. Although I think PDF graphics look like poop onscreen.

But can you imagine what would happen if Word started producing documents
that by default were as difficult to copy and paste? All the Frame users
would probably form a lynch mob! (That, or celebrate fact that they had
more fuel to add to their we-hate-Word fire.)

The practical reality in the world of softcopy publishing is that we DO
borrow and share information between multiple documents. Portable or not,
PDFs make that sort of sharing VERY difficult. Whether they meant to do
that or not.
