Subject:RE: How is the job market in your area? From:"Chris La Porte" <cpldll -at- earthlink -dot- net> To:"TECHWR-L" <techwr-l -at- lists -dot- raycomm -dot- com> Date:Mon, 18 Feb 2002 12:45:14 -0600
Maybe the market is good at Lockheed if you live in West Ft. Worth. In
Dallas, which is 1 1/2 to 2 hours away during rush hour, things are slow.
Take a peek at the boards and the local STC listings, and you will find very
little. Dallas was hit very hard in the telecom crunch, so many writers are
hunting and have been for some time.
Chris La Porte
"Maybe this is true in Texas? An overall better job market? Not sure where
exactly the JSF Lockheed facility is-- Houston? Dallas? (Well ok, Enron's
Houston may not be the best place to look for a job right now....) Certainly
the Texas climate would not be a major factor to someone from Atlanta."
