They can find out now, you just posted it publically. 

Although places cannot, to the best of my knowledge, do medical record
searches without your direct consent, they can do Internet searches. And
you would be amazed what is lingering out there in somebody's database. 

Go to www.google.com and type in your name in quotes. You'll get a list of
every web page that has your name on it. Additionally, you can check the
Google groups to see every news group posting (including TECHWR-L) you
ever made. 

Be careful what you say in public.
