I've been using Opera for several months, and rather like it. My favorite feature is the ability to open a new window without opening an entire new instance of the browser, thus saving screen real estate and system resources. You can also reject pop-up windows, search with Google from a dedicated text entry box, and make plenty of preference selections. The only drawback I've found is choppy support for plug-ins (it has to pretend it's Netscape for some purposes), and Flash-heavy websites sometimes don't display well--which is ok by me, as I'd just as soon skip the Flash anyway.

Opera is free to try, so check it out yourself.

Hi All,

I was just wondering if anyone has used or has background with the Opera Web
Browser. I saw an ad promo for it, and am intrigued. Any techy juice on the
product or people that worked on the specs?

Cheers,
